Rita Fortunato, born in Venezuela, reside Barcelona, Spain. She is an emerging artist who has studied Art as part of her career of Interior Design BFA, at The Art Institute of Houston in 2009- 2012 in USA and discovers her true passion for painting. She’s continued painting taking several Art classes and art connections everywhere she travels in the world. Constantly self-toughing, exploring with various techniques and medium. She is aiming for the opportunities of solo exhibition of her paintings.

Expressing all her feelings and creative imagination she get inspire by all the trips in different countries and translate her experiences into a canvas, it doesn’t matter how she creates her pieces, what its matter is the message, reaction and the challenge of the imagination for the viewer. She loves to paint large scale on the floor where she is more at ease and feels nearer, walking around the painting, working each side, and literally be in the painting. When she starts painting after prepare for painting and perform mindful creative exercises, her mindset is not aware of what she is doing she is in trance deeply in senses, feeling, imagination and her soul is talking. She has not fear about making changes for her painting until she see the expression notes of her soul as composing music.

Her style has been in constant evolution and search of finding herself with different techniques and mix styles, with a unique versatile essences that a viewer never will guess that all her work of art are made by one multifaceted artist, until today she has found herself best to the Expressionism.
